Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is designed to help children with sensory integration dysfunction, dyslexia and/or attention deficit. Areas of training include

• Sensory Integration (SI)
Occupational therapists would assess and provide training on children’s sensory integration function such as primitive reflex action, muscle tone, postural control, bilateral integration function, motor planning and coordinations.
• Attention
Provide attention training to children with attention processing problems. Treatments are designed to systematically improve children’s selective Attention, sustained attention, alternating attention and divided attention.
• Hand Writing and Fine Motor Skills
Occupational Therapists provide pre-wriitng and writing skills training to improve children’s writing speed and word legibility. Fundamental skills for writing will be taught including visual perceptual skills, eye hand coordination, finger dexterity, upper limb strength and coordinations.
• Visual Perception
Through interactive games and therapeutic activities, occupational therapists provide treatment on visual discrimination, spatial relationship to improve children’s reading skills and writing accuracy.
